Append to automation list next day’s programming, commercials and promotions for air, verify against traffic log and edit as needed. Communicate with server ingest operators, traffic personnel, promotions managers, on and off site engineers and network technicians to troubleshoot any foreseeable or current error in transmission quality. Promoted to Interim Assistant Chief Operator (7/2007). Responsible for reporting to Chief Operator FCC and FAA data regarding Emergency Alert System tests and transmissions, tower light status and transmitter level discrepancies.

 

Operated multiple satellite receivers to record network, syndicated and local programming as well as national and local commercials and promotions directly to disk and prepared them for later playback according to traffic log. Communicate with Master Control Director, promotions managers and on site and off site engineers. Responsibilities:

ENG camera operator for PSA productions; Dub copies of PSA's for distribution.

 

Achievements:

Set up and operation of ENG camera equipment for a series of locally produced Anti-Smoking PSA's which have been distributed and aired throughout the country on cable systems as well as broadcast stations. Set up and operate video distribution system consisting of 3 playback decks and 11 video monitors for a display at the Wealth of Health Expo. Operate computer system (compile survey information; design multilayered montage utilizing video images).

Promoted to position of Program Director. Maintain computer system. Design and print promotional materials, labels and correspondence. Maintain DBASE files for all facets of program including: budget; master list of contacts for production and distribution; surveys; operations reports. Scan, import and print full color graphics, photos and video images.
